I have a long, lustrious affair with San Francisco. I love that city. The Warf, clam chowder, Golden Gate Bridge, Berkley, Stone Mountain Daughter.....the list could go on and on.
The first time I realized their was a San Francisco was on "My Full House". I am not kidding! The opening credits with the painted houses, I fell in love, it was such a different landscape then raining Oregon. I asked my Mom where they lived. San Francisco was her reply.
As a litle girl I had no idea how many times I would visit San Francisco and the surrounding suburbs. In high school, I visited every year running in the Foot Locker Regional Championships in cross country and we would spend a day touring the local hot spots.
A few years later, my sister moved to Moraga CA, a small sleepy picturesque town about 10 minutes from Berkely. We spent many day trips visiting Berkley and beyond. Stone Mountain Daughter and Tail of the Yak was always a must stop!
I just love our door for San Francisco. It captures the iconic look and feel of why everyone loves San Francisco. We have tried to capture of fun and feel of the painted houses that are commonly found in the skyline of San Fran.
